| IAN CRAWFORD (PANIC! AT THE DISCO/ SOLO ARTIST) |
The 21 year-old guitarist/singer/songwriter has spent much of the last
few years touring all over North America, as well as Japan and South
America. Starting music at age 11, he quickly gained notice as a
promising young up-and-coming player in the Seattle blues and rock
scene. Moving up from bars and clubs, to theaters and stadium arenas
with various local acts in just a few years around the Pacific
Northwest and Canada. At 18 he got his start in the mainstream music
scene with Las Vegas band, The Cab, leaving Seattle to join the
group. Having faith and support from Vegas success Panic! At the
Disco, as well as Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz, the band was signed
to Decaydance/ Fueled By Ramen records in May of 2007, and released a
debut album 'Whisper War' in April of 2008 with producer Matt Squire.
The album reached it's way to MTV with Top 40 radio play driven by
extensive touring. After only two and a half years into joining of
the band, Crawford made the decision to leave the group to pursue a
new musical direction. He quickly formed his new project Ian Crawford
and the Puget Sounds, to which he is the only offical member. In July
2009, with the leaving of some of their own members, Crawford filled
in the guitar position for Panic! At the Disco, and recently finished
tours with No Doubt, Blink 182 and Fall Out Boy. Ian Crawford
continues to play with Panic! At the Disco and is currently recording
a solo album, expected to release in early 2010.
