In early 1993, Don Grosh set out to design a refined and improved version of that classic California-style guitar. Starting from a blank slate, he hand designed the Retro Classic. Although inspired by that classic California-style guitar, every aspect of the Retro Classic is an original design of Don Grosh, from the body dimensions, countours and routing to the neck design, construction and headstock.
