In early 1993, Don Grosh set out to design a refined
and improved version of that classic California-style
guitar. Starting from a blank slate, he hand designed
the Retro Classic. Although inspired by that classic
California-style guitar, every aspect of the Retro Classic
is an original design of Don Grosh, from the body dimensions,
countours and routing to the neck design, construction
and headstock. The goal was to create a truly revolutionary
instrument that brings tone, looks, balance and playability
to a whole new level. The Retro Classic has done just
that, as evidenced by the numerous pros, studio greats
and weekend warriors who play these instruments on stages
all over the world. From fat and chunky to sparkle,
