The DG-293 is our full-hollow Set Neck Model. It is completely hollow except for a small post under the bridge. This model features two F-holes as well. Available with either an old growth 5A figured maple top or with an old growth Sitka Spruce top. Sitka Spruce has a high strength to weight ratio, but is softer and much lighter than maple. Commonly used for acoustic guitar tops, it gives a more rounded attack and complex sustain. Choose maple for a tighter snappier tone or choose spruce for more of an acoustic Arch Top type response.
